Lagos, Portugal, 1996.

Choreographer, Dancer, Performer, Visual Artist & Curator

Having started his studies in visual arts, classical dance and character dance, he graduated from Escola Superior de Dança (2017) and is currently attending the Master in Performing Arts at FCSH/UNL.

As performer and artistic collaborator, he has worked, nationally and internationally, with artists such as Ana Borralho & João Galante, Angélica Liddell, Romeo Castellucci, Amélia Bentes, Luís Marrafa, Davis Freeman, André Uerba, among others. Since 2016, he develops his work through multidisciplinary practices, but always focusing on the body as a biographical, physical and emotional research field, questioning and redesigning the idea of limit.

His creations always seek to find a hybrid form, assuming the present as a political place of transgression, poetry, ritual and affection. He has presented his work in Portugal, Spain, India, Indonesia, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Norway, Australia, Hong Kong and Brazil.

In 2017, together with Joana Flor Duarte, he founded the cultural association CAMA, a center for performing arts based in Lagos. Since 2022, he is co-artistic director and co-programmer of PEDRA DURA - Festival de Dança do Algarve, and is also co-curator of Verão Azul - Festival Transdisciplinar de Artes Contemporâneas.
