André e. Teodósio has graduated from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. He was part of Casa Conveniente theater company and is a member of Teatro Praga. Portuguese theater and opera director, actor, playwright, curator, television host, professor, essayist and editor, he presents his work regularly in theaters, foundations, museums and national and international public institutions.

His texts have been published by Berardo Museum, EDP Foundation, Espai D'art Contemporary di Castello, Câmara Municipal do Porto, and also in diverse publications by Tinta-da-China, Textos e Pretextos (Universidade de Lisboa), Jornal Público, Flanzine, Culturgest or Douda Correria. He co-authored, together with Alexandre Melo and Vasco Araújo, the works Império and Augusta, both published by Documenta. Curator of "A poesia de cada dia nos dai hoje" and "A CNB e os poetas" events at the National Ballet of Portugal, he has also curated the events "Estar em casa", at Teatro São Luiz (with Anabela Mota Ribeiro), "Taburopa", in Cologne, and "FiloLisboa", with the Goethe Institute and the French Institute; he has also worked as artistic curator for Gisela João's concerts.

He is a regular professor at Escola Superior de Artes de Lisboa, Fórum Dança and Balleteatro, and has lectured at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidade Católica de Lisboa and at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He has participated as keynote speaker in several public events of various artistic expressions.

With Perda Preciosa he was awarded the SPA prize for best dance piece. For all his work of multiple facets and the promotion of contemporary Portuguese art, as well as his public visibility in countless interventions, interviews and national and foreign publications, he was described by the weekly newspaper Expresso as "one of the most influential people in Portugal". In 2012, he was invited to join the European Commission's "New Narratives for Europe" working team.

He is author and hosts the cultural programs "Super Swing" and "Princesas e Doentes" on Canal Q.
