Marcos Aganju is a musician and multidisciplinary artist. He has recorded three albums: Plantation Sons (2019), Soundtracks A/B (2020), Amalá (2017).

He has been creating, directing and producing soundscapes and soundtracks since 2006 for theater, film and dance in collaboration with several artists. In 2021, he directed his first visual album, Plantation Sons. He has a degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He was part of the AfroTrancendence artist residency at RedBull Station/São Paulo. Since 2014 he has partnered with the artist Dally Schwarz on the platform Zona Limítrofe,, carrying out creations, workshops and research.

He is the guitarist in the band Puta da Silva, and has worked with Jota Mombaça and Ventura Profana. He collaborated with the training program “The risk of dance” at cem - centro em movimento in 2020 and 2021.

In 2023, he was focused on recording his third album, Batuk-in, which has the support of Dgartes.
