Belgrade.

Bojana Cvejić is a writer, dramaturge, performer and dance and dance theory professor. She is the author of several books, such as “Choreographing Problems”, from 2015, and “Toward a Transindividual Self: A Study in Social Dramaturgy”, co-written with Ana Vujanović. Since 1996, she has made, performed and collaborated on numerous works of opera, dance and theater in Europe as co-director, dramaturg or performer. Bojana also co-authored several videos and video-installations exploring dance and choreography, such as “…in a non-wimpy way…”, with Steve Paxton, in 2013; “Yvonne Rainer’s WAR”, from the same year, and “Spatial Confessions”, for Tate Modern, in 2014. Her research in social choreography, transindividuality, and critical theory drives her politically to organize collective platforms of self-education and experimental production, such as PAF – Performing Arts Forum in St. Erme. And since 2017 she divides her time between Oslo, where she is Professor of Dance Theory at the Oslo National Academy of Arts, and Brussels, where she teaches at P.A.R.T.S.
