Choreographer
Douglas Lee began his training at the Arts Educational School London, and, completing his studies at the Royal Ballet School, won the Alicia Markova prize in 1996. He then began working as a dancer at Stuttgart Ballet.
In 1999 he took his first steps as a choreographer in the "Young Composers" program of the Noverre Society, and from then on created many works in Stuttgart. As he established his choreographic success in Stuttgart, he became a freelance choreographer and began working internationally and gaining recognition outside of Germany.
