Creative platform to support the independent artistic community. A space for creation, experimentation and dialogue.
Estúdios Victor Córdon (EVC), a creative platform belonging to OPART, is committed to supporting the independent artistic community. Therefore, it is a space that responds to the present with an eye on the future. Privileging proximity, intercultural dialogue, and artistic transversality, EVC is a space dedicated to art practices, research, experimentation, creation, and also to thought, thus promoting different perspectives and encouraging communication between peers. As main lines of action and orientation, the EVC supports artistic creation, focusing distinctly on presenting young creators and performers to the contemporary art scene, organizes complementing training and daily dance classes for professionals, and promotes programs dedicated to thought, questioning, and memory. Alongside the relevance and effectiveness of the proposed programs, and for the benefit of the independent artistic community, it is also our goal to make each person feel at home. From within that home, people give input, the EVC becoming, more and more, a place by all for all.
In the development of the EVC programming, there are several collaborations that we establish for the execution of our programs:
