Elizabete Francisca has a degree in Industrial Design (ESAD-CR) and studied dance at Fórum Dança (PEPCC) and Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa. Since 2009, she has worked on a wide range of projects in the fields of dance, film, performance and theater, participating as an artistic collaborator, dancer, performer and actress. She was an associate artist of Materiais Diversos, directed by Tiago Guedes, between 2011 and 2013, and she was supported by Rumo do Fumo, founded by Vera Mantero, between 2013 and 2020. Noteworthy among her work are the pieces created in collaboration with Teresa Silva, Leva a mão que eu levo o braço and Um Espanto Não Se Espera, both having won the Jovens Criadores competition; the solo performance TSUNAMISMO, recital para duas cordas em M ; and the pieces Dias Contados and a besta, as luas. She acted in Marília Rocha’s feature film A Cidade onde envelheço, and co-directed, with Francisca Manuel and Jennifer Bonn, the film O Gesto, a project based on the performance À VOLTA DA MESA: para um imaginário do gesto. She participated in the labs and performances The Lab and Serious Fun, by Mark Tompkins and Meg Stuart. She is currently a member of the collective Apneia Colectiva, having conceived in this context the projects Cadeia de Transmissão (2019) and O Que Pisamos (2024). Together with Daniela Rodrigues, aka Maria Daniela, she is part of the DJ duo Kosmik Kunts.
