Pedro Ramos is the artistic director of Ordem do O, working as a choreographer, dancer, researcher, visual artist, musician and singer, and dance and hatha yoga teacher. Throughout his artistic path, over the course of the last 20 years, he has methodically developed his own peculiar technique, movement and artistic language, which have attracted interest from academic circles. In the last 7 years, he has been focused on bridging dance and deep ecology in his artistic work. He has dwelt in Monsanto Forest Park, in the bioregion of Lisbon, as a place of inspiration and a choreographic research laboratory, as well as as a place for the presentation, creation, and sharing of ideas. His technique, in the context of its sharing and research, has been referred to as "Práticas Anímicas".
