Carolina Manuel is an acrobat and professional dancer. She began expressing herself through movement in traditional dance groups in Maputo.

She received a grant to do an artistic exchange program in Norway from MoNo Association (2017) and took part in the FK Youth Camp there. She studied and improved her circus, acrobatics and dance techniques at the Kultursholen Fredrikstad School (Norway, 2018). She also trained as a teacher and class assistant. In addition to circus art, Carolina studied ballet, contemporary dance, jazz dance and hip-hop.

In 2019, she became an associate artist at CulturArte, participating in the contemporary dance training and creation residency RIR-PALOP and in the regional exchange residency program Kanda Yetu (2019-2020). Also at CulturArte, she took part in the remounting of the performance Ponto de Intersecção, by Panaibra Gabriel Canda, presented in Mozambique and Mali (2019 and 2020). In 2020, she was the protagonist of the piece Era vez: uma história com Princesa Cenoura, which combines dance, aerial acrobatics and storytelling for children and teenagers. In 2021, she took part in the "África no circo" project, and was part of "os jovens africanos do cabaré pan-africano 100% feminino", in partnership with Le prato (Lille-France) and Fekat Circus (Addis Ababa-Ethiopia).

She developed the project Vertige, between Mozambique and Madagascar, with the dancer and choreographer Malgas Judith Olivia. The project was supported by Institut de France, in Paris. In 2022, she developed a training program for children in a neighborhood environment, offering acrobatics and dance classes through the "circus-home" cluster.
