Graduated in Drawing from Faculdade de Belas-Artes (Universidade de Lisboa), Guilherme Gouveia currently follows the complete Photography course at Ar.Co.
Fascinated, since always, by portraiture, he was able to explore this branch through Drawing (and, later, and due to his passion for staging, also through Photography). In this context, he quickly developed a particular interest for capturing the body in motion.
In an urgency that seeks variety, and keeping the human figure as a central element, the young artist has been mainly working as a stage photographer - in theater, performance and dance -, simultaneously developing his personal projects, which are also closely related to the theme.
