André Faria studied Design, Ceramics and Sculpture at Colégio de São Miguel, in Fátima. He enrolled in the Plastic Arts program at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP), through which he had the opportunity to participate with his personal project Let me draw you like one of my french girls in the Waking Life festival, in 2019, in Crato.
Currently, he is concluding a degree in Plastic Arts at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, in Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.cr). His artistic practice is developed essentially through drawing, video, sculpture and textiles. Through the plastic exploration of these media in relation to visual references of the world that surrounds him, a multidisciplinary language emerges that allows him to create narrative moments from different realities.
The artist was one of those invited to join the program Young Composers in week II, which was dedicated to collaboration and artistic experimentation between composers and visual artists, in a partnership with ESAD.cr
