Studied dance in Luanda, Lisbon, New York and Berlin, considering the studies at the Merce Cunningham Studio, Movement Research (NYC), and the Tanzfabrik (B), the richest phases of her training. His works have been presented in the country's main halls, with successive re-stages of several pieces that have become emblematic, such as A Bailarina, Respira, A Nova Bailarina, o Baile, and _Caixa para Guardar o Vazio (_with Fernanda Fragateiro), among others. She is known for developing projects for young people and for the community, crossing dance with other arts, focusing on the artistic, social, and pedagogical component. As a performer, she has worked with Paula Massano, Rui Horta, Paulo Ribeiro Francisco Camacho and Madalena Victorino. She began choreographing in 1990 with the piece Me myself and Influências, awarded at the IV Choreographic Workshop of the Lisbon Dance Company. She is part of the New Portuguese Dance group represented at Europália 91. Aldara Bizarro is an artist inspired by the social and political valorization of dance and the reach, participation and representation of new and diverse audiences through contemporary art.
