Ana Caetano, born in Lisbon in 1970, is a dancer, performer and visual artist. She began her career in contemporary dance, joining the Gulbenkian Ballet and the Centre Chorégraphique National de Grenoble. She has collaborated with choreographers such as Jean-Claude Gallotta, Francisco Camacho, Olga Roriz, Paulo Ribeiro and Joanne Leighton.
Her artistic practice combines dance, performance and visual arts, exploring the body in motion as an instrument of creation and investigation. She develops works in which gesture, space and design are articulated, producing ephemeral experiences that question physical and conceptual limits.
Her work has been presented in Portugal and is included in collections such as the Carmona e Costa Foundation, Fernando Figueiredo Ribeiro, Casa Santos Lima and Paulo Amaro.
