Mente de Cão is a physical theater company based in Lisbon and founded by Joana Pupo, Pepa Macua, and Catarina Sobral. It sets as its mission to create artistic proposals through art, education, and the sharing of experiences and languages. It collaborates with artists from various countries and is deeply committed to international engagement.
In 2018, Pepa and Pupo formed a partnership with O Corpo Invisível, a set of combined practices which is based on a consistent exploration of the body and attention. In 2020, research on the experiences of migration and taking root led to the production of their first piece, A GRAVIDADE DE UM PÁSSARO, which premiered in September 2021 at Teatro da Cerca de São Bernardo.
