Pia Krämer has managed and led organizations and projects in performing arts for over 30 years.
As artistic director of the Studio Theatre Loft in Regensburg, Germany, she was responsible for programming and the academy.
In Portugal, she led the community project in O Espaço do Tempo. There, Krämer was also the programming director for the international and national residencies and project manager of international collaborations and cooperation. She worked as a Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) therapist and an academic lecturer in movement analysis.
Coordinator of the Portuguese Platform for Performing Arts since 2015, she is the Portuguese partner of the Aerowaves Platform for Contemporary Dance, was a board member of the European Dancehouse Network between 2014 and 2019, and also of Perform Europe in 2020.
Between 2019 and 2021, she was part of the programming team of Dancehouse Helsinki and was interim manager of the EDN (European Dancehouse Network). Currently, she works as a curator, lecturer, and mentor.
