Artistic structure
Formiga Atómica is a theater company based in Lisbon (Portugal), founded in 2014 and directed by Miguel Fragata and Inês Barahona. Their works deal with quite contemporary issues and target all kinds of audiences. Formiga Atómica's shows are usually preceded by research periods around the topic and the audience they address. Among their creations, _A Caminhada dos Elefantes _(2013, +100 performances), _The Wall _(2015), A Visita Escocesa (2016), Do Bosque para o Mundo (2016, +35 performances), Montanha-Russa (2018, +30 performances), Fake (2020) and O Estado do Mundo (Quando Acordas) (2021) stand out. The company regularly tours around Portugal and also in France and Belgium. The following shows have already been adapted into French versions: La Marche des Eléphants (2016, +20 performances), Au-Delà de la Forêt, Le Monde (2017, +30 performances) and L'État du Monde (premiering in 2022).
