Sara Ferreira graduates in Communication Sciences in 2015, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and in 2016 she joins the Portuguese Institute of Photography. She works as a freelancer since then. In 2019, develops the project overhead in Artistic Residency at AGITLab and Imaginarius Centro de Criação, with Rina Marques. In May of the same year, they exhibit their work Paisagem no fog, at Mira Forum, in Porto. In July 2019, they exhibit a series of portraits at the Museu da Chapelaria, in São João da Madeira. In 2021, they win the Imaginarius grant to support local creation and create, together with dancer Rina Marques, a multidisciplinary performance Nova refutação do tempo, which results from a joint work between dance and photography, which was supported for creation by EVC through the Artistic Residencies program.
