Filipa Peraltinha is a Portuguese dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher, who trained at the Academia de Dança Contemporânea de Setúbal, Portugal. Her career includes renowned institutions such as Cullberg Ballet (Sweden), Carte Blanche (Norway), Tok'Art (Portugal), Luna Negra Dance Company (USA), Oslo Dance Ensemble (Norway), Companhia Paulo Ribeiro (Portugal), among others. She has worked with choreographers and mentors such as Mats Ek, Crystal Pite, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Benoit Lachaîmbre, Rui Horta, Paulo Ribeiro, André Mesquita, Lander Patrick, to name a few.
Filipa is a guest teacher at schools, universities, and dance companies in Sweden, Norway, Australia, the USA, Germany, Canada, Brazil, France, and Portugal. She has been invited to choreograph for world-class institutions in Europe, the USA and Australia.
Since 2020, she is part of MOTUS THE Company, a Los Angeles-based urban dance company, as a dance mentor and movement coach.
