Dally Schwarz is an artist and creator in the performing arts, focusing on dance and video works. She writes, directs, choreographs and produces her creations.
She began her career in dance and the arts of the body in 1999, studying Middle Eastern dance, yoga and martial arts. She has worked in communication and writing on various platforms linked to the performing arts and as an art educator in cultural centers, schools and universities. In 2014 she created the artistic platform Zona Limítrofe in partnership with the artist Marcos Aganju, from which she creates, organizes workshops and does research.
In 2020 she presented 2eÍmpar at Gaivotas 6; in 2021 Ya,Walk!Talk! at Teatro do Bairro with support from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation; in 2021 Pop-up!, with support from FMH/INET-md; and in 2022 CatPowa! with support from DGartes and GDA.
She collaborated with the training program “The risk of dance” at cem - centro em movimento in 2020/2021.
