Multidisciplinary Artist
With a background in theater from Eduardo Mondlane University, Yuck Miranda has been developing for over ten years a multidisciplinary language that includes dance, music, visual arts and text: he makes physical theater, contemporary dance and contemporary theater performance. The work he develops with children also aims to combat discrimination and marginalization of the LGBTQIA+ community through "Artivism". Activism that raises awareness of the lived experiences of members of this community in so-called "non-risk" countries and the consequences of this designation for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people.
