Teresa Ranieri has thirty years of experience in body awareness and mindfulness practices.

Born in Italy, she lived for twenty-one years in Germany, where she worked as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer, becoming internationally recognized.

As a performer, she danced in works by Rui Horta, Amanda Miller, and William Forsythe, among others.

She completed her master's degree in Pedagogy and Movement Research at Bruckner Universität in Linz (Austria) with a thesis on "The incorporation of Mindfulness as a pedagogical strategy".

Since 2014, Ranieri has mentored the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, the Mindfulness- Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and the Eating with Mindfulness program - an approach adapted to the context of eating disorders.

She is currently a researcher at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practices at Bangor University (UK) while completing an MA on "The Teaching of Mindfulness-based Interventions" at the Department of Psychology at the same university.

Between 2021 and 2024, Teresa Ranieri is working on a European Union project that aims to implement Mindfulness practices to support students' mental well-being.
