"The Stone, the Sorrow"is based on the observation of abandoned quarries in Portugal, analyzing the acceleration of the decomposition of spaces into images and comparing them to the social conception of the notion of Family. Positioning himself on the border between the public and the private, the choreographer seeks a speed that leads the viewer to a mythological space of hospitality and disruption, where contemplation is made possible through thousands of frames per second.
