With a Bachelor's degree in Theater (ESTC), a Master's degree in Theater Staging (ESTC) and a PhD in Performing Arts (FLUL), Statt Miller has been working on the theorization of performing arts and theater critique. She is a member of APCT (Portuguese Association of Theatre Critics) and IACT (International Association of Theatre Critics) since 2016, as well as a scholarship researcher at Centro de Estudos Clássicos (Department of Martyrology and Hagiography) of Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, where she wrote a thesis on The Christian Martyrdom as Performance.
She collaborated with the performing arts magazine Sinais em Linha (www.sinaisemlinha.wordpress.com) and is the author of the blog O Calcanhar de Aquiles (www.ocalcanhardeaquiles.wordpress.com), where she publishes her theater reviews on a regular basis.
Statt Miller works as a performer and playwright. She is part of the artistic association Propositário Azul and is artistic consultant for LoboMau Produções. Additionally, she has collaborated with various directors and companies in the national scene, such as Martim Pedroso & Nova Companhia, LAMA teatro, Gato que Ladra, OS PATO BRAVO, among others.
