Rodrigo Loureiro began his training at the Lugar Presente Dance School (2019) and graduated in Contemporary Dance from ArtEZ University of the Arts (2024). He has worked with several choreographers, including Dunja Jocic, Paulo Ribeiro, Joana Providência, and Francisco Camacho, among others. In 2023, he completed an internship at Skånes Dansteater (SE), where he was involved in the creative processes of ‘Once a Whisper’ and ‘Mozart's Requiem’. As a creator, he developed research on site-specific dance, exploring the relationship between architectural space and performative presence. This research gave rise to the duet ‘Intersession’, presented at Arnhem train station. In 2024, he created a new duet for the Vai não Vai festival. He is currently a performer with Companhia Paulo Ribeiro.
