Francisco Jesus Soto Maior da Silva Couto was born on 9 November 2000 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto.

He began his dance training at the age of 5 at the Giselle Dance Academy in Espinho, under the guidance of Conchita Ramirez, where he developed his skills in classical, contemporary and hip-hop dance. In 2015, he joined the National Conservatory Dance School in Lisbon. In 2017, he completed an internship in Work Context Training at the National Ballet Company, participating in rehearsals and performances. In 2018, he completed his training and began his professional career as a dancer with the National Ballet Company, where he remains to this day.

He has worked with national and international choreographers such as Alexander Ekman, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marco da Silva Ferreira, Victor Hugo Pontes, Rui Lopes Graça, Hofesh Shechter, Miguel Ramalho, Clara Andermatt and Olga Roriz. He complemented his training with intensive courses in Gaga, Crystal Pite Repertoire and the Summer Intensive at the Nederlands Dans Theater. In 2025, he worked as a guest teacher and choreographer, with award-winning creations in national and international competitions.
