Exploring the body as a living archive, _Wild Explosion of Radical Softness_ sculpts a dance inevitably inhabited by various bodies. Drawing from her research on the concept of plasticity, Maria Ferreira Silva uses her body and a piece of fabric to create an imaginary space which is both singular and collective, and which is crossed by questions about temporality, relationships, legacy, inscription and memory.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program welcomes creators in the field of dance and other areas of artistic intersection, at national and international level, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, responding in direct proportion to the needs of the artistic community.
