A vibrant duet by Cuban-born Abel Rojo and Danish artist Nikoline Due, _Riders_ blends improvisation, play, and presence into a journey that is never the same twice. Moving with and against each other — physically, vocally, and emotionally —, the performers carve a shared path through rhythm, risk, and connection.

Um dueto vibrante entre o cubano Abel Rojo e a artista dinamarquesa Nikoline Due, _Riders_ combina improvisação, jogo e presença numa viagem que é diferente a cada vez. Movendo-se em sintonia e em contraste um com o outro — física, vocal e emocionalmente —, os intérpretes traçam um caminho partilhado através do ritmo, do risco e da conexão.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program hosts artists and collectives working in the field of dance or in areas of artistic intersection, both national and international, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously throughout the year, and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, directly meeting the needs of the artistic community.
