Dougie Knight is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist who began his career at the age of 14, in Portugal. Today, at 33, he is recognized for his musical career and for being a pioneer of krump in Portugal, having contributed to the development of this dance style in Brazil. He co-created the cultural and artistic association MOSJAM, which became a reference in the arts scene. He has stood out as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and visionary artist, bringing new perspectives to hip-hop culture and to the contemporary art scene. He has directed performances such as KRUMP SESSIONS (TBA, Serralves and Bons Sons — Tomar, 2024) and AMPED (2023), through OU.kupa. This marked his debut as a creator in institutional spaces and, incidentally, his first contribution to the appreciation of krump in this context. He has performed with both national and international companies, such as the French company Dyptik, and in projects by artists such as Mónica Calle (Memórias de uma Revolução), Vhils, and Piny (Periférico). He also choreographed Funk Orquestra's performance at Rock in Rio in 2024. He has performed solos on well-known festivals, including Festival Paralelo (Azores) and KrumpFest (Paris).
