Establishing a relationship between Ovid's mythological literary work, dance and electronic sound composition, Pedro Ramos departs from the myth of Orpheu to create an operatic piece. 

Through the interaction of several Orphic characters, he reflects on the dichotomies between the tangible and the intangible, the present and the absent time, the individual and the collective, exploring new aesthetic oppositions and corporal languages.

Estabelecendo uma relação entre a obra literária mitológica de Ovídio, a dança e a composição sonora eletrónica, Pedro Ramos parte do mito de Orpheu para a criação de uma peça operática. 

Num encontro de diversas personagens órficas, reflete-se sobre a dicotomia entre o tangível e o intangível, o tempo presente e o ausente, o individual e o coletivo, explorando novas contraposições estéticas e linguagens corporais.

This program supports independent artistic creation, welcoming Portuguese and international dance artists and creators from other artistic areas, for a maximum period of two weeks. Since its inception, EVC is a space of cohabitation of multiple languages, acting in direct response to the needs of the artistic community.
