MUDBODY delves into a physical and sensory realm where bodies gradually lose their usual form. Amidst instability, tension and vulnerability, three performers construct a collective organism in a state of constant transformation. Through a choreographic language marked by repetition, breath and instinctive impulses, the piece evokes organic images, nocturnal creatures and ambiguous landscapes, offering an atmospheric experience that oscillates between fragility and survival.

MUDBODY mergulha num território físico e sensorial onde os corpos perdem progressivamente a sua forma habitual. Entre instabilidade, tensão e vulnerabilidade, três intérpretes constroem um organismo coletivo em permanente transformação. Através de uma linguagem coreográfica marcada pela repetição, pela respiração e por impulsos instintivos, a peça convoca imagens orgânicas, criaturas noturnas e paisagens ambíguas, propondo uma experiência atmosférica entre fragilidade e sobrevivência.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program hosts artists and collectives working in the field of dance or in areas of artistic intersection, both national and international, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously throughout the year, and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, directly meeting the needs of the artistic community.
