The Itineraries artistic creation incentive program, which is aimed at Mozambican dance creators, is once again taking place for the third year in a row. This time, the first phase will be held in partnership with Materiais Diversos Festival and will take the form of a one-week Artist Residency in Alcanena, in October 2023.
The first stage of the program takes the three artists to the source of the Alviela River, in particular to the Living Science Centre Alviela, where they will take part in the seminar Companionship and collaboration - artistic practices for sustainability, led by Carolina Cifras, Simone Frangi and Clara Antunes. They will also have the opportunity to attend some performances within the festival.
The Itineraries program is a partnership between Estúdios Victor Córdon and Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language, through the Portuguese Cultural Center in Maputo.
