I-HÓN emerges as a solo piece that straddles the boundary between the comic and the tragic, the intimate and the political. It is a performative reflection on what persists and what transforms when the body attempts to dance between worlds, languages, and memories.

I-HÓN surge como um solo que se constrói na fronteira entre o cómico e o trágico, o íntimo e o político. É uma reflexão performativa sobre o que persiste, e o que se transforma, quando o corpo tenta dançar entre mundos, línguas e memórias.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program hosts artists and collectives working in the field of dance or in areas of artistic intersection, both national and international, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously throughout the year, and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, directly meeting the needs of the artistic community.
