This new show follows on from work developed around the idea of "The disappearance of the body", a research project that has recently guided Mário Afonso's projects, in his shows _Framework_ (2022) and _vaziopleno_ (2023), and that in 2024 ended up being the title of master's thesis. This show involves organising materials around the appearance, encounter, and disappearance of the body, with the aim of integrating and reflecting on human relationships, currently determined by extreme technological mediation.

Este novo espetáculo vem no seguimento do trabalho desenvolvido em torno da ideia "O desaparecimento do corpo", uma pesquisa que ultimamente tem orientado os projetos de Mário Afonso, nos espetáculos _Framework_ (2022) e _vaziopleno_ (2023), e que, em 2024, acabou por dar título à sua tese de mestrado. Um trabalho que se desenvolve na organização de materiais em torno da aparição, encontro e desaparecimento do corpo, com o intuito de integrar e refletir as relações humanas, atualmente determinadas pela extrema mediação tecnológica.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program hosts artists and collectives working in the field of dance or in areas of artistic intersection, both national and international, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously throughout the year, and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, directly meeting the needs of the artistic community.
