_All in Gravity_ is a contemporary dance piece featuring six performers, which celebrates the cycle of life through movement, exploring the body’s transformation, renewal, weight, care and vulnerability. Inspired by the work of Steve Paxton, this project is developed through a collaborative process in which each performer contributes with their own physical uniqueness, giving rise to a dynamic visual landscape marked by forces, balances and interdependencies, in a continuous interplay where “what rises falls, and what falls rises”.

_All in Gravity_ é uma peça de dança contemporânea com seis intérpretes, que celebra o ciclo da vida através do movimento, explorando a transformação, renovação, peso, cuidado e vulnerabilidade do corpo. Inspirada na obra de Steve Paxton, a criação desenvolve-se a partir de um processo colaborativo onde cada intérprete contribui com a sua singularidade corporal, dando origem a uma paisagem visual dinâmica marcada por forças, equilíbrios e interdependências, num jogo contínuo em que “o que se levanta cai, e o que cai se levanta”.

With the aim of supporting independent artistic creation, this program hosts artists and collectives working in the field of dance or in areas of artistic intersection, both national and international, for a maximum period of two weeks.

Applications are accepted continuously throughout the year, and residencies are scheduled in our calendar on a first-come, first-served basis. Since their beginnings, the EVC have been a space where multiple languages coexist, directly meeting the needs of the artistic community.
