After António Tavares, Bibiana Figueiredo, Luciény Kaabral & Nuno Barreto and Mano Preto, it's time for Cristina Peres to interview the angolan dance artists Aneth Silva e Miguel Carlos.
Aneth Silva
A dancer, teacher, choreographer, cultural producer, radio broadcaster, Aneth Silva was born in Luanda, Angola. She graduated from Angel Vianna Faculty of Dance in Rio de Janeiro. She danced in the performances Roda, Aquarela do Brasil, and Ocupar o Corpo at Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker. She is part of the Palasa Dance Company along with Miguel Carlos, and she directs the Kijingu Dance Platform.
Miguel Carlos
Founder, choreographer and artistic director of the Palasa Dance Company, Miguel Carlos was born in Luanda, Angola. He studied at Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa. He works at Casa das Artes, in Talatona, Luanda. Banana com Ginguba, still on tour, is one of his latest creations.
