Violeta Azevedo is a flautist and sound artist who moves between composition and improvisation. The music she creates is a dense and intricate universe where the starting point for each fragment of life is the sound of her transverse flute and voice, which she transforms into unique organisms through alchemical processes, drawing on an electronic orchestra. Walls of sound are built from distorted harmonies, but also from delicate melodies, to build a complex, living piece that immerses us in a world inhabited at times by sparkling beings, at others by darker energies, yet always in symbiotic harmony.
