Romain Beltrão Teule is a French-Brazilian artist based in Lisbon. A design graduate with a master's degree in visual arts, they completed the PEPCC program at Forum Dança. Their research interests lie in translation, interpretation and semiotics, with a particular interest in what they call "espaços-entre" ("in-between spaces"). They have created the solos Elisabeth (2014), Légende (2017) and Dobra (2021). Their work has been presented in Portugal, Spain, France, England, and Belgium. Légende was awarded the jury prize for Best Performance at FITT Noves Dramatúrgies in Tarragona.
