He was born in Figeac (France) and moved to Portugal in 1989, settling in Vila Nova de Santo André. In 2003, he had his first experience with music at the Sines Philharmonic Society (SMURSS) and with theatre at the GATO SA group. He studied at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School between 2004 and 2009. From 2010 to 2012, he undertook the Forum Dança Programme of Study, Research and Choreographic Creation (PEPCC).
He has created several pieces, notably À mesa há uma acumulação de emoções agarradas por um quotidiano de talheres, Cocoon (a performance/installation supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation), Banana Being and HALE — estudo para um organismo artificial, a piece created with the THISTAKESTIME collective. He was supported by O Rumo do Fumo from 2012 to 2017.
He has worked and collaborated as a performer in pieces by Carlota Lagido, Miguel Loureiro, Vera Mantero, Rui Catalão, Tânia Carvalho, Ana Borralho & João Galante, Xavier le Roy & Scarlet Yu, Jérôme Bel, André Guedes, Miguel Pereira, James Newitt, Salomé Lamas, Bruno Humberto, Anne Kerzerho & Loïc Touzé, Paola Stella Minni & Konstantinos Rizos.
As a musician, he has played with the bands Groove Intercourse, Farra Fanfarra, PuntzkaPuntz and They Must be Crazy. He is a member of the band dUASsEMIcoLCHEIASiNVERTIDAS and has been developing his solo musical project blow my mind until the light becomes sound. As part of the artistic collective Papillons d’éternité (with Tânia Carvalho), he created Pieris Napi, Greta Oto, Lyropteryx Appollonia and Nymphalis Antiopa. He collaborates regularly with Andresa Soares.
