Choreographer, performer

She was born in Porto and divides her time between Porto and Berlin. She studied Psychology at the Universidade do Porto and Dance at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. Her choreographic work explores the language of the body and the voice, situated at the intersection of movement and musical composition. She was selected for the danceWeb fellowship in 2019 and, during the 2019/2020 season, was one of the choreographers in residence at K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg. In 2022/2023, she was a fellow of the City of Berlin’s Tanzpraxis programme. In recent years, she has led workshops and discussions on mental health within the dance and performing arts community. She is currently co-director of MULA – Festival of Performing Arts in Porto, alongside Cristina Planas Leitão.
