Inés Nieto (Selva Kalú) is a multidisciplinary artist: singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, writer... Her career has led her to release several EPs of original music such as ‘Inn Zen’ and, currently, under the stage name ‘Selva Kalú’. Her most recent original works are ‘Say Something’ and “Synchronisation” with her jazz quartet, as well as the compilation album ‘LIVE en CASA’. She has played with bands from different places and in cities such as London, Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona and Galway.
With a degree in Audiovisual Communication and training in music, theatre, dance and circus arts since childhood, she is currently completing her second degree in Jazz Voice. In cinema, she has collaborated as an actress and composer in films such as ‘El Amor Amor’ (Laura Sáez), ‘Esqueletos’ (Juan Burgaleta), “Psyché” (Adonis de la Cruz) and ‘Cerezo en Flor’ (María Magdalena Blanco), among others. She received a nomination at the 2018 Olympia Film Festival (Pyrgos, Greece).
