Born in Lisbon in 1987, he began dancing urban hip-hop at the age of 11. Three years later, he enrolled in the Dancer Training Course at the Academia de Dança Contemporânea de Setúbal, where he completed his studies in 2006.

Since then, he has worked with several choreographers and dance companies, such as Amanda Miller, André Mesquita, choreographer Ohad Naharin's Kamuyot project, Bounce Streetdance Company, Companhia It Dansa (where he performed in pieces by Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylián, Rafael Bonachela, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Alexander Ekman and Catherine Allard,) the Norwegian National Contemporary Dance Company (Carte Blanche; where he performed in pieces by Hooman Sharifi, Sharon Eyal, Crystal Pite, Sang Jijia, Ina Christel Johannessen, Marcos Morau, Siri Jontvedt, Senelle Hall, Lina Majdalanie, Mia Habib and Marcelo Evelin), Norwegian National Ballet, Batsheva Dance Company, Marlene Monteiro Freitas and Francisco Camacho, among others.

He is an official Gaga teacher, also developing pedagogical work in different national and international contexts.

His love of choreography led him to participate with his solo Stepping Over Stones at the International Solo-Dance-Theatre Festival Stuttgart, Germany, in 2012, winning the 2nd Best Performance Award and the Audience Award. He ended up touring with his solo in Germany and Brazil.

Since then, he has created other works, such as Flux and As it is/As it turns out (in collaboration with Jens Trinidad), Connect, Still, You Can't Smile With Me, Podium (at the request of the Centro Coreográfico CAMADA), Now I know, I really don't know, A Sombra das Ondas (in collaboration with audiovisual artist Rudolfo Quintas), Pre|sente (in collaboration with musician Marco Santos), and Contido (at the invitation of the Companhia de Dança de Almada).

In 2025, he completed his Master’s Degree in Choreographic Creation and Professional Practices at the Escola Superior de Dança.
