Filipe Faria (Lisbon, 1976) works at the intersection of image, sound, word, and territory. Creator, filmmaker, and producer, he develops projects that combine film, photography, soundscape, ethnography, and interdisciplinary creation, in a practice where creation and research intermingle. Founder and director of Arte das Musas, he creates contexts, festivals, and artistic devices as a form of thought, listening, and relationship. His work questions memory, fragment, archive, and presence, regularly circulating in festivals, venues, and exhibitions, in national and international contexts.
