Eleni-Persefoni Stavrianou is a ballet pianist from Greece with a doctorate in piano performance and dance accompaniment. She has played for classes at Staatsballett Berlin, the Royal Danish Ballet, Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo (CPBC), Dança em Diálogos (masterclass with Steven McRae), Ballet Arizona, Ballet Tucson, and the University of Arizona. Since 2022, she has been working at the Escola Artística de Dança do Conservatório Nacional in Lisbon, where she plays for advanced and intermediate ballet classes, auditions, Cursos Livres (pre-ballet), and spring and summer dance intensives.

In addition to ballet accompaniment, Eleni has taught music for dancers at the university level and has significant experience as collaborative pianist for ensembles, orchestras, voice, and instruments—most recently at Conservatório de Mafra and Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do Cabo. She has also taught piano privately and in various institutions in Greece, the United States, and Portugal—most recently at IMBAS School of Music and Colégio Luso-Suíço. Highlights of her projects include Portraits of the Feminine: A Lyrical Journey with Ukrainian soprano Nataliya Gorban in Lisbon (2026); Romance & Tradition: Female Composers & Folk Melodies with American soprano Kirsten Blair in Portugal (2024) and Alaska (2021); Kinesthesis: The Yellow Wallpaper with the University of Arizona School of Dance (2022); and the Arizona premiere of Pierre Boulez’s Sur Incises for three pianists, three harpists, and three percussionists (2020).

Eleni serves as newsletter editor and social media content creator for the International Guild of Musicians in Dance, and continues to develop work exploring the connections between music, movement, and artistic collaboration.
