Dançando com a Diferença (DcD) is a Portuguese contemporary dance company renowned for its artistic innovation, technical excellence and promotion of bodily diversity.
Since its foundation in Madeira in 2001, the company has affirmed the importance of the Non-Normative Body/Dissident Body on national and international stages. It promotes artistic literacy, cultural inclusion and the personal and professional development of performers.
DcD combines artistic creation, research and educational action, developing structured projects with social and cultural impact in Portugal and abroad, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion, intergenerational dialogue and democratising access to art.
