Celebrating 20 years since the beginning of his career, Victor Hugo Pontes is the artist invited to be At Home in 2023. It will be a year of commemoration in which EVC will be the choreographer's temporary home. Here, new works of his will be conceived, and encounters with various formats will be held, through various ways of approaching and promoting a meaningful reflection about his path.
The cast of Corpo Clandestino will present a lecture-performance around a challenging core theme: non-normative bodies. Based on previously established premises, each performer, in their physical singularity, creates a performance about themselves. These short performances will be presented simultaneously and in continuity, in different spaces of the EVC, through which the public can circulate freely, so that they have the possibility to see all the pieces. At the end, there will be a conversation with the public, moderated by Gaya de Medeiros and Victor Hugo Pontes.
