Dois Chorões e um dente-de-leão is the first creation of André Cabral in residence at the EVC under the program In Transit, in a partnership with the Materiais Diversos Festival. Aimed at a children and youth's audience, Dois chorões e um dente-de-leão seeks to work on a fable that initially starts from growing pains and moves on to a fantastic and lively imaginary, making use of movement and text to allude to physical and mental growth.
"Is it pain, or discomfort? How much does it cost to grow? What are these pains, that come and go almost as fast as all the questions I have that give rise to other questions? After all, I don't feel like such a child anymore, I guess... in the meantime I fell asleep and woke up in a vase! And in it I discover that I can talk to myself more seriously, and that I'm not the only one asking questions." André Cabral
